Product Overview:
The mitogen activated protein kinase kinase 6 (MKK6) and its substrate p38 MAPK are involved in intracellular signaling pathway activated by cytokines and environmental stress. Once p38 is activated it will then phosphorylate a number of transcriptional factors thereby transmitting the signals from cytoplasm to the nucleus. The constitutively active MKK6 can be used to activate p38a MAP Kinase (SAP2Ka, MAPK14). GST-MKK6 is a 63 kDa GST (N-terminus) fusion protein containing full-length constitutively active mutant MKK6(E).

Presentation:
Liquid in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.1% 2-mercaptoethanol, 150mM NaCl, 0.03% Brij-35, 270mM sucrose, 0.2mM PMSF and 1mM Benzamidine.
Storage Conditions:
MKK6 recombinant protein should be stored in undiluted aliquots at -70°C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
