TAT complexes are a useful marker to predict morphological changes in chronic aortic dissection.Thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT) is a sensitive marker for thrombin formation, and α2-plasmin inhibitor-plasmin complex (PIC) is a marker for fibrinolysis.
