  Interleukin-8 (IL-8) is a proinflammatory neutrophil chemotactic cytokine that signals through the CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptor. It primarily mediates the activation and migration of neutrophils from peripheral blood to sites of inflammation, injury, or infection in e tissue. IL-8 is involved in a wide variety of physiological and pathological processes including host defense against bacterial infection, bronchiolitis, arteriosclerosis, autoimmune disorders of the skin, and angiogenesis-dependent disorders such as tumor growth and wound repair. IL-8 is secreted by stimulated monocytes, leukocytes, somatic cells and tumor cells.
  
  The Human IL-8 Detection Kit is a Sandwich Immunoassay based on time resolved-fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR-FRET) technology using europium chelate tagged Anti-IL-8 B and GS665 labeled Anti-IL-8 A. The Kit can be used to quantify the relative amount of Human IL-8.

  Storage

  
  All kit reagents should be stored at 4-8℃ before reconstitution. The kit reagents will remain stable for at least 12 months when stored at the required temperature.
  Once reconstituted, all stock solutions should be aliquoted and stored at -20℃ for long-term storage. The stock solutions of IL-8 Antibody [Eu] and IL-8 Antibody [GS665] will be stable for 7 days at 4-8℃.
  All aliquoted reagents should avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
