MOLECULAR CHARACTERIZATION
Biotinylated rh IL1a contains no "tag", and has a calculated MW of 18 kDa. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 19-22 kDa in SDS-PAGE due to Glycosylation.

BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY
The activity is determined by the dose-dependant production of IL-8 by human PBMCs. The expected ED50 for this effect is 12-25 ng/mL.

PURITY
