概述：泛素 (Ub) 是真核细胞中广泛表达的一种高度保守的小分子蛋白，由 76 个氨基酸组成。泛素共价结合到靶蛋白上被称为“泛素化”，泛素化是一种重要的蛋白质翻译后修饰 (PTM)。泛素化在控制蛋白的稳定和功能中起重要作用，并调节了多种细胞过程，例如细胞分裂和分化、环境应激反应、细胞分化、免疫反应、DNA修复和凋亡。著名的泛素-蛋白酶体途径 (UPP) 是主要的胞质蛋白水解机制，能选择性降解各种形式的受损蛋白。 泛素化修饰由三类酶催化完成：1） 泛素激活酶 E1 激活泛素蛋白；2）激活的泛素转移到泛素结合酶E2 的 Cys残基上；3）泛素由E3连接酶连接到靶蛋白的赖氨酸残基上。
