Product Description: In biological experiments, it is an important pH stabilizer. It is usually selected to mix appropriate weak acids and their conjugated bases to obtain a suitable pH value, with a stable pH range between 8.9-10.3. In addition, it is required that the acid-base formation of the buffer does not chelate with certain metal ions, such as protein imprinting used for nitrocellulose membranes.

CAPSO is a useful secondary standard buffer. The secondary dissociation constant p K2 value of CAPSO has been determined. The available pH range for CAPSO is 8.9-10.3.

CAPSO was used as a biological buffer in the following studies:

Maintain pH 9 in the water immersion test of analyzing high carbon fly ash soil mixture.

Chemiluminescence uses peptide nucleic acid (PNA) probes labeled with soybean peroxidase for in situ hybridization.

Preparation of a planar bilayer lipid membrane.

It can be used as a buffer for non denaturing electrophoresis analysis to study the macromolecular self association of ADP ribosyltransferase protein in solution.
