说明：庆大霉素能与30S核糖体亚单位结合引起密码读错，阻断肽酰-tRNA从受体位点到供体位点的转移。庆大霉素能与假单胞杆菌细胞膜的外膜部分结合，置换本来存在的阳离子，使膜不稳定，在细胞表面形成空洞，从而起到杀菌效果。

硫酸庆大霉素（Gentamicin sulfate salt）是一种广谱氨基糖苷类抗生素，对大量革兰阴性细菌及革兰阳性菌都有良好抗菌能力，甚至包括某些β-内酰胺敏感的抗万古霉素（VRE）肠球菌，和耐糖肽抗生素的一些“超级细菌”。其抑菌机理在于通过与细菌核糖体30S亚基结合导致密码子错误，阻断肽酰-tRNA从A位点到P位点的转运，从而抑制细菌蛋白质的合成。
硫酸庆大霉素在实验室中应用非常普遍：1）微生物学研究，常用于药敏实验筛选敏感性细菌；2）细胞培养内抑制细菌污染，有效浓度为 0.5 -50 µg/mL；3）分子生物学研究，常用来选择性筛选携带庆大霉素抗性基因的阳性克隆，常用使用浓度15 µg/ml。
Gentamicin sulfate salt is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic with good antibacterial activity against a large number of Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria, including some β- Lactam sensitive Vancomycin resistant (VRE) Enterococcus, and some "super bacteria" resistant to glycopeptide antibiotics. Its antibacterial mechanism is that it causes codon errors by binding to the bacterial ribosome 30S subunit, blocking the transport of peptidyl tRNA from the A site to the P site, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

Gentamicin sulfate is widely used in laboratories: 1) microbiological research, commonly used in drug sensitivity experiments to screen sensitive bacteria; 2) Inhibiting bacterial contamination within cell culture, with an effective concentration of 0.5-50 µ g/mL; 3) Molecular biology research is commonly used to selectively screen positive clones carrying gentamicin resistance genes, with a concentration of 15 µ g/ml.
