碱性品红 用于配制席夫试剂检测醛类，用于萃取光度法测定某些酸根离子及金属离子。也用于光度法检测溴，亚硝酸盐和二氧.化硫。用作极谱分析中的极大。
介绍： 溶于冷水或热水呈红紫色，极易溶于酒精呈红色；遇浓硫酸呈黄棕色，稀释后几乎无色；水溶液加氢氧化.钠液呈带有红色沉淀的几乎无色的液体。
粘朊、弹性组织和嗜品红的颗粒染色。中枢神经的核染色,细菌学中用以鉴别结核杆菌。分析化学中配制席夫试剂检验醛类。用溴.酸盐滴定的氧化还原指示剂。
Alkaline fuchsin is used to prepare Schiff reagent for detecting aldehydes, and is used for extraction spectrophotometry to determine certain acid and metal ions. It is also used for photometric detection of bromine, nitrite, and sulfur dioxide. Used as a maximum in polarographic analysis.

Introduction: It turns red purple when dissolved in cold or hot water, and extremely soluble in alcohol, turning red; When exposed to concentrated su.lfuric acid, it turns yellow brown and almost colorless after dilution; Hydrogenation of aqueous solution.
