Ammonia and salicylic acid are white powders, which darken in color when exposed to light and air, with a melting point of 150-151 ℃. Slightly soluble in water and ethanol. This product has antibacterial effect on tuberculosis. It can be used together with isoniazid and streptomycin to treat various types of active tuberculosis, hyperthyroidism and ulcerative colitis.
