产品简介：新生牛血清，是一种用来实验室培养细胞的营养制剂。顾名思义是采用新生牛的血清制备而成。出生12-24小时新生牛静脉采血；又可细分为：
                    a.高级新生牛血清：采血后静置自然析出的血清；
                    b.标准新生牛血清；
                    c.经离心分离的血清；
                    d.普通新生牛血清：融血或微融血的血清。
产品运用：牛血清是细胞培养基中的中药成份之一。在培养基中加入适量血清（10%），首先可以补充细胞生长所需的生长因子、激素、帖附因子等，其次它具有解毒作用，能解除脂肪酸、重金属和某些蛋白酶的毒性；再次，它还能中止胰酶的作用，并保护细胞免受机械损伤等。但是血清成分复杂，不同来源、不同批号生产的血清对细胞生长作用的差异较大。血清的保存期只有一年，不同存放时期的血清的效力也不同。所以，当新购得的血清或要在开始一个重大试验的时候，应首先进行牛血清的筛选。 筛选时，通常选用正常的二倍体细胞和不太好养的肿瘤细胞，也可以使正要准备培养的细胞。另外，最好用已知优质血清作对照。

新生牛血清的常见功能：
1)提供维持细胞指数生长的激素、基础培养基中没有或量很少的营养物，以及主要的低分子营养物等。

胎牛血清、新生牛血清与小牛血清的区别： ①胎牛血清：通过对8月龄胎牛的心脏进行穿刺取血、分离而制得。 ②新生牛血清：通过对出生后14h内未进食的新生牛的动脉取血、分离而制得。 ③小牛血清:通过对出生后3个月内小牛的动脉取血、分离而制得。
